When you say you love me
My heart becomes full
And I know that you’ll be there
To catch my tears
The purity of my love falls as rain
And I have to question if you love me
So yet I’ll ask again, ‘Do you love me?’

You sigh and breathe my name
Can you hear my heart
As it calls for you?
Can you hear the steady beating
That will pause for a brief moment
As I accept you do?
You truly love me

When you say you love me
I will hold the words
In my memory forever
Locked away with that lost beat
And I will be yours forever.
